Ashraf Mondol, Gazipur: In a welcome break from the demands of newsroom life, members of the Gaacha Press Club participated in a day-long annual river excursion titled "Joltorongo Tour-2026", combining recreation, fellowship, and professional solidarity amid the natural beauty of Gazipur.The colorful event was organized to help journalists unwind from their hectic schedules while fostering stronger bonds of friendship, cooperation, and unity among members of the press community.The journey began at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, July 31, from Dhitpur Ghat in Gaacha, Gazipur, where participants boarded a beautifully decorated boat for a memorable voyage along the region's rivers and wetlands.Held under the slogan, "Beyond the Rush of News, Let's Rejoice in the Melody of the River," the excursion attracted enthusiastic participation from journalists of the Gaacha Press Club.
