|| Special Correspondent: IFIC Bank PLC and Dhaka Regency, one of the country’s renowned five-star hotels and resorts, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). The MoU was signed on Tuesday, 11 August 2026, at a ceremony held at IFIC Tower in Dhaka in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.In the presence of Mr. Md. Monitur Rahman, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) & Chief Information Officer, and Mr. Sheikh Akhter Uddin Ahmed, Deputy Managing Director (DMD) & Chief of Loan Performance Management of IFIC Bank, the MoU was signed on behalf of the Bank by Mr. Helal Ahmed, Chief of Branch Business & Head of Operations, while Mr. Md. Mahmud Hasan, Director, Sales & Marketing, signed on behalf of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort. Among others present at the ceremony were Mr. Md. Zakir Hossain, Head of Cards and Digital Banking of IFIC Bank, and Ms. Fabliha Gulrukh, Assistant Marketing Manager of Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort, along with other senior officials from both organizations.Under the MoU, IFIC Bank debit and credit cardholders will be able to enjoy a 50% discount on room rates, 40% on buffet dining, 10% on the à la carte menu, 50% on banquet venues, 15% on spa services, and 30% on health club (gym) facilities at Dhaka Regency Hotel & Resort.
