At the same time, the costs of Bangladeshi businessmen will continue to decrease, and their efficiency will increase. Through this, the employment that we are talking about will continue to increase. The country's economy will continue to improve. Inflation will decrease. When the supply chain is disrupted, the costs increase, which ultimately have to be paid by the people of the country. If the costs increase at the port, it has to be paid by the people, if the costs increase due to customs, the people have to pay. So that these costs are not imposed on the people in the future, not imposed on the businessmen. We even have to survive in the global competition. If we are not in the competition, we will not be able to survive in the global competition of the future. That is why today's issue was very important. Regarding NCT, the Finance Minister said, "Whoever runs the port must follow these guidelines and be guided in the same direction in the interest of the people, business, industry, and the economy of Bangladesh. It is not our business whether the port is run or not. When the person who owns the port, whether it is domestic or foreign, they must ensure these things."Regarding the reopening of closed factories, the minister said, "The economy has already been simplified, deregulated, and taxes have been reduced so that industries can emerge. This government has taken many initiatives. Foreign investment is coming in on a large scale." In response to a question, he said, "Who knows who, these things will not work under this government. We will not allow any business of such patronage, there is no chance. No matter how big the minister, no matter how powerful the person, there is no chance." Regarding the ADB meeting, the Finance Minister said, "They want to see Chittagong not only as a logistics hub but also as a pioneer of development in the coming days. Because there is a port here, it will become a logistics hub, and other developments will be developed." The ADB Vice President has come from the Philippines.
