|| MM Rahmatullah: Bangladesh has expressed strong optimism for an early end to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East, calling for lasting peace and stability to ensure the wellbeing of people across the region and beyond.State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humayun Kobir made the remarks on Wednesday when Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh Dr Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi paid a courtesy call on him, according to a press release issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.During the meeting, the two sides discussed a range of issues of mutual interest and exchanged views on matters of shared concern.Humayun Kobir underscored Bangladesh’s strong expectation that the tensions in the Middle East would subside at the earliest possible time.
