|| Special Correspondent: Maulana Abu Taher Nadvi, the Muhtamim (principal) of Jamiya Islamia Patiya in Chattogram and a distinguished Islamic scholar, passed away on Monday at a hospital in Chattogram. Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi Raji'un (Indeed, we belong to Allah and to Him we shall return).Khelafat Majlis Ameer Maulana Abdul Basit Azad and Secretary General Dr. Ahmad Abdul Qader have expressed deep sorrow over his passing.The leaders prayed to Almighty Allah for the forgiveness of the deceased and for him to be granted Jannatul Ferdous (the highest level of Paradise), and they extended their heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members. They also prayed that Almighty Allah accepts all his contributions in the pursuit and teaching of Islamic knowledge and fills the void left by his passing.
