|| The 67th Meeting of the Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF) was held on Wednesday, 16 September 2026 at the Board Room of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, Head Office.The meeting was presided over by Mr. Mohammed Younus, Chairman, Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC.As per Memorandum and Articles of Association of the Forum, the meeting has elected the Executive Committee for a period of two years’ term. Mr. Mohammed Younus, Chairman of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC has been elected as the chairman of the Forum while Mr. Badiur Rahman, Chairman of Al-Arafah Islami Bank PLC & Mr. Zahir Hussain, Executive Director of Bangladesh Bank, currently holding the office of the Chairman of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC have been elected as Senior Vice Chairman & Vice Chairman respectively.The following members of the Board of Directors and Managing Directors of the member banks & other dignitaries attended the meeting: Alhaj Md.
