|| Desk Report: At a central executive meeting of Khelafat Majlis, the leaders expressed deep concern, stating that the government has not presented the July National Charter Implementation Order in parliament, declaring it invalid. However, they themselves had signed the July Charter and campaigned in favor of a “Yes” vote in the referendum. The ruling party has a moral responsibility to implement the verdict in favor of constitutional reform that emerged from the referendum. The elected parliament must discuss and review the 48 proposals of the July National Charter, on which the referendum was held. Effective initiatives must be taken to reform the constitution in line with the referendum’s verdict.They further stated that the country’s healthcare sector is facing severe disorder. Treatment is being disrupted in government hospitals due to shortages of essential medicines and equipment. Many children have died due to a measles outbreak. Mosquito infestation has increased. The government is not taking effective action against those hoarding fuel. The decision to introduce three days of online classes per week in educational institutions is short-sighted, causing financial and moral harm to students. To address the electricity and fuel crisis, the government could ban air conditioners and decorative lighting. Public transportation systems could be improved. They called on the government to withdraw the unreasonable decision regarding online classes in educational institutions. The monthly central executive meeting was held on Wednesday at 7:00 PM at the central office in Paltan, chaired by Ameer Maulana Abdul Basit Azad and conducted by Secretary General Dr. Ahmad Abdul Qader.
