Zakir Hossin, Pirojpur Correspondent: Priojpur District Council’s newly appointed
administrator and central presidium member of the Teachers-Employees Unity
Alliance, Principal Alamgir Hossain, was felicitated. The event was organized
by the Teachers-Employees Unity Alliance District Branch at Shaheed Omar Faruk
Auditorium in Pirojpur Sadar Upazila on Saturday (April 4) at 12 noon.In the program presided over by Gazi Md. Shahjahan,
President of the Teachers-Employees Unity Alliance Pirojpur District Branch,
Principal Alamgir Hossain, who was the chief guest, said, “I will try my best
to fulfill the important responsibility that has been entrusted to me with
dedication and honesty. I seek the prayers and cooperation of people from all
classes and professions, including the teachers’ community, for the overall
development of Pirojpur district.” He also said that discussions are underway at
the highest levels of the government regarding job nationalization and all
services of the district council will be kept open to the common people.The organization’s Pirojpur Sadar Upazila branch
president Md. Enayet Kabir Khan, Bhandaria Upazila General Secretary Assistant
Professor Monowar Hossain Palash and Nesarabad Upazila president Md. Mainul
Hossain spoke as special guests at the event. In addition, Nazirpur Upazila
president Md. Yunus Ali and Zianagar Upazila General Secretary Md. Nasir Uddin,
along with leaders at various levels of the district and upazila, spoke.
The speakers said that this appointment of
Principal Alamgir Hossain is a great honor for the district’s educational
institutions and local development. His role in education and social
development for a long time will make the activities of the district council
more dynamic and people-oriented. At the end of the discussion meeting, the
honored guest was presented with floral greetings and a commemorative plaque by
the organization. Local dignitaries, including teachers and employees from
various upazilas, leaders and activists of political and social organizations,
were present at the event.
