Desk Report: Bangladesh Islami Chhatra Shibir (BICS) issued a joint statement on Sunday, strongly denouncing the “brutal and joint” US‑Israeli attack that resulted in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The organization’s president, Nur Islam, and secretary‑general, Sabghatullah Sabgha, described Khamenei as a “courageous voice against imperialist and Zionist powers” and said his assassination, along with several senior Iranian officials—including Defense Minister Aziz Nasirzadeh, IRGC ground‑forces commander Mohammad Bakpour, and security adviser Ali Shamkhani—constitutes a flagrant violation of international law.The statement also highlighted a separate Israeli strike on a girls’ school in southern Iran, which reportedly killed at least 85 students, calling it a “blatant breach of human rights.” BICS urged the United Nations and the global community to act swiftly to halt the violence, protect civilians, and restore regional stability through diplomatic dialogue. The group called on people worldwide to raise their voices against the aggression and prayed for mercy on Khamenei and all victims.
