|| Sylhet Bureau Office: Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Imran Haider, visited the Sylhet Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry to meet with the region’s business community and explore ways to strengthen commercial ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh.During the meeting, the vibrant business community of Sylhet shared ideas and suggestions to enhance bilateral commercial relations. Discussions covered several sectors with potential for cooperation, including agricultural tools and commodities, construction materials, hospitality, and tourism.High Commissioner Imran Haider assured the Chamber of all possible cooperation from the Pakistan High Commission. He encouraged Sylhet’s business leaders to form a delegation to visit Pakistan to explore trade and investment opportunities firsthand.The event was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, Public Diplomacy Pakistan, the Sylhet Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI).Both sides expressed interest in expanding business-to-business linkages to boost trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
