|| MM Rahmatullah: National Life Insurance has paid out death claim benefits of Tk 6 lakh to the families of two Dhaka Reporters Unity (DRU) members under a group insurance agreement.Two cheques of Tk 3 lakh each were handed over to the families of late members Nikhil Mankhin and Shyamal Kanti Nag at a ceremony held on Tuesday at the Shafiqul Kabir Auditorium of DRU.Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapan attended the event as chief guest. National Life Chairman Tofazzal Hossain and Chief Executive Officer Md. Kazim Uddin were present as special guests.The ceremony was chaired by DRU President Abu Saleh Akon and moderated by General Secretary Mainul Hasan Shohel.Senior executives of National Life along with DRU Executive Committee Joint Secretary Md. Zafar Iqbal, Finance Secretary Niaz Mahmud Shohel, Office Secretary Rashim Molla, Hospitality Secretary Aminul Haque Bhuiyan, and Executive Member Suman Chowdhury, among others also presented during the event.
