Muladi Correspondent: A large “Free Medical Camp and Free Medicine Distribution” program organized by the Samaj Kallyan Foundation was successfully held on Saturday, May 30, at Nazirpur Secondary School and Ghosherchar Dakhil Madrasa in Nazirpur Union, Muladi Upazila, Barisal. The humanitarian initiative ran simultaneously at both venues from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.9 specialist doctors provided treatment: Nine specialist physicians conducted health check-ups and prescribed medications throughout the day. The medical team included: Dr. Md. Afzal Karim, Dr. K.M. Zahidul Islam, Dr. Md. Shahriar Tarek, Dr. Md. Shakil Ahmed, Dr. Md. Imran Hossain, Dr. Mahjabin Bushra, Dr. Paromita Haque Nahin, Dr. Md. Aminul Islam, and Dr. Md. Shahedul Islam.Patients express satisfaction: Locals expressed strong appreciation for receiving specialist consultation and free medicines at no cost. Several patients said, “We were able to see doctors in a very well-organized environment and received all necessary medicines free of charge. We did not notice any irregularities or mismanagement in service delivery. We thank the organizers for this noble initiative.” They also urged the organization to continue such services in the area in the future.Organizers pledge continued service: Md Abdullah Ahad Bhuiyan, President of Samaj Kallyan Foundation, said, “This program stems from our social responsibility. Earlier, we successfully completed two free eye and medicine camps. We also recently distributed footballs and sports equipment to keep youth away from drugs. Our welfare activities for people will continue.”Md. Akhtar Hossain, Vice President of the organization, added, “We decided from the beginning that we would serve every patient who came, no matter the number. Alhamdulillah, we are delighted that we were able to ensure complete service and medicines for everyone in a very orderly manner.”Local dignitaries and community members also praised the foundation’s timely and humanitarian initiative.
