A procession, discussion meeting and a certificate of honor and a certificate of honor were presented to the best indomitable woman at the upazila level on the occasion of the International Women's Day (November 25 to December 10) and Begum Rokeya Day in Kashiani, Gopalganj.The procession, jointly organized by the upazila administration and the upazila women's affairs officer's office, started from the upazila parishad premises and ended at the same place on Wednesday (December 10) at 2 pm. Later, a discussion meeting and distribution of honor and certificates were held in the upazila parishad meeting room under the chairmanship of Upazila Executive Officer Md. Shahin Mia and conducted by Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Laksana Lucky.At the meeting held under the slogan 'Let's unite to stop violence against women and girls, ensure digital security', special guest Assistant Commissioner (Land) Atahar Shakil said, "Women mean capable, women mean power. If given opportunities and a supportive environment, girls can change not only themselves but also the society." Receiving the successful mother award will undoubtedly inspire the upazila to further move the women's society forward.Upazila Social Service Officer Bazlur Rashid Kanak, Secondary Education Officer Mahafuza Begum, Upazila Press Club President Shahidul Alam Munna, Press Club General Secretary Nizamul Alam Murad, Journalist Forum President Liton Sikder and others spoke at the meeting.After the discussion meeting, a memento and certificate of appreciation were presented to the best indomitable woman at the upazila level. The best indomitable woman of the upazila is Rokeya Begum, a woman who has achieved success as a successful mother, father: Shafiuddin Molla, mother: Amena Khatun.Expressing her feelings about receiving the award, Rokeya Begum said, "This is not just my personal achievement, but the contribution of the people of my birthplace, Kashiani, and the upazila, to who I am today."
