|| Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur (Mymensingh) Correspondent: The newly appointed Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Phulpur, Mohammad Yusuf, held an introductory meeting with journalists working in the upazila on Wednesday (July 8) at 11:00 a.m. The meeting took place in the conference hall of the Upazila Parishad.The event was moderated by Shafiqul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land). Among those present were Phulpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Firoz Hossain and journalists working in the upazila.The meeting emphasized strengthening cooperation between the administration and the media, ensuring transparency and responsibility in the exchange of information, and presenting issues of public interest objectively.During the discussion, journalists shared constructive opinions and recommendations on various local challenges, development opportunities, and ways to improve the quality of public services in the upazila.In his remarks as chair, UNO Mohammad Yusuf said, "The media is the mirror of society. Journalists play a vital role in accurately presenting the activities of the administration to the public in the interest of the people."He also expressed his hope for the sincere cooperation of journalists in promoting development, good governance, and public welfare initiatives.
