Dr. Firoz Mahboob KamalThe US: the unhinged bullyThe US President Donald Trump has emerged as an unhinged bully with an extreme war mongering arrogance. Like a huge mighty beast in a jungle, he enjoys unfettered liberty on predating on the weak.   He wants others to surrender to his whims and accept nothing less than that. President Trump and his team do not believe in negotiation. It happened twice that while negotiation between the Iranian and the US team was ongoing, he started relentless bombing on Iran. He took Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as the partner in the bloodthirsty campaign. They killed the Supreme Leader and more than 30 senior leaders on the first day of the attack. It was an earthquake in Iran, and was celebrated as a huge success in the US camp. These heartless and soulless leaders have turned large scale genocide and destruction in Iran into huge sports to rejoice the pains of innocent Iranian men, women and children. Millions of people in Iran and Lebanon are made homeless by these war criminals.The Western leaders and their Eastern cronies have exposed their moral demise by staying silent on such a horrendous crime. It is the crime of the US people that they have elected such a criminal as the leaders. Iran is labelled as an existential threat to the US. The Islamic regime in Iran has been in power for the last 47 years; but didn’t fire a single bullet against the US and nor did close the Hormuz Strait for a single hour.  The world could get such a war-free gulf for 47 years, because there was no criminal like Donald Trump was not in power. The whole crisis owes to the criminal gang that now rules the US.Iran made history of defiance    The US bullies did a lot of crimes on the earth. They occupied many countries, committed genocides and caused deaths of many millions. The US also supported genocidal crimes in other countries like Israel. Israel could kill about 75,000 people in Gaza and destroy more than 80 percent of residential houses with the US money, weapons and the political support. Despite all such crimes, Israel enjoys full impunity because of the US support. Even the UN Security Council couldn't condemn one of the worst genocide in Gaza because of US veto.The UN charter, the human rights, the human values, the international laws and other elements of the civilised living were blatantly ransacked by this unruly bully. But no one could punish this thug. Iran made history by standing against this unruly bully. Iran thus could place its name in annals of history.The war caused catastrophes and created opportunities The war objective of the US and Israel was to destroy militarily, economically and politically. So, they bombed industries, schools, colleges, universities and power infrastructure of Iran. They also killed civil and military leaders. Now the US is asking for negotiation. What is left for the negotiation. The US wants to negotiate the condition of surrender. Both the US and Israel want that whatever was destroyed by the US and Israel must never be rebuilt. They want to ensure that Iran must not have any nuclear and missile technology so that in the next war Iran stands fully defenceless. Now the US suffers a dilemma. Iran refuses to surrender. The US and Israel want to end the war, but Iran continues to fight. Iran understands that Iran has nothing to lose now; but has huge opportunities to gain. Iran is forcing the US to land its troops on its soil. So far, the US has bombed from high altitude and kept its naval ship about 4 thousand miles away from Iranian shore. So, they were beyond the killing range. The American people will start feeling the pain of war only when they will land in Iran. Then body bags of slain soldiers will start returning to the US.  Donald Trump doesn’t like that.   War generates opportunities as well as encourages inventions. This war allowed Iran to figure out its own weaknesses. In the next war, it will be a stronger Iran. Iran now claims ownership of the Hormuz Strait. Because Iran finds it within its territorial water -as there is no international water there.  Now Iran can share the ownership with Oman. So, now Iran will charge tolls on the commuting vessels. So, the strait will give Iran economic benefits.The US has been at war in Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon and Somalia. But they were never in Iran. Iran is a country of different terrains from all these countries. Now the Hormuz Strait is closed. So, 20% supply of oil and 30 percent supply of fertilizer have been stopped. Now the oil, gas and food crisis will be spiralling up. The Houthi militia has also entered the war to stand beside Iran. So, another 12 percent of oil supply will be reduced as Babal Mandab appears to be closed. The US is planning to occupy Iran's Kharg island to take control of Iranian oil exports. That will work as good bait and easy target for the Iranian fighters. The US foolishly thinks that by occupying the island they will occupy the oil field. Kharg Island is only a reservoir cum delivery point. The oil comes to the Kharg Island from other parts of Iran. So, Iran can easily stop the flow. The US at a lossIt seems that President Donald Trump and his colleagues are at a loss.  They never thought that they would not end the war as per their own wish. They are now in a quagmire. Now, they have two options: either to flee or fight indefinitely. A long war will quickly diminish the US’s status as a global power. Unlike Vietnam, Afghanistan, Iraq and Syria, Iran possesses the Hormuz Strait. Iran’s partners Houthi Ansarullah possess Bab Al Mandab. So, Iran can strangulate the world economy.The Iranian option and the US optionNow Iran has a chance to prove that fighting against Iran is a very costly and painful fight. The Gulf States that stood with the US will now learn the lesson -if they wish. Iran has motivated partners in war in countries like Lebanon Syria Iran Yemen and many other parts of the world. They consider Iran’s war as their own war. Now the whole Muslim world stands behind Iran. Muslims now take it as a religious obligation to support.Now Muslims -whether Shia or Sunni think that fighting against Iran means fighting for Israel. That is why the best friends of Israel like UAE, Bahrain and Jordan don’t show courage to fight for Israel and its master the US. Even Trump’s Pakistani friend the de facto ruler General Asif Munir couldn’t dare join the US and Israeli war campaign.The Muslims all over the world consider this war as their own war against the known devil like Israel and the US. It is understood that this war will cause huge damage to the world economy. There is no doubt that this war will cause huge destruction in Iran. But for Iran, it is not a war of their own choice but a holy fight for existence. Since it is a pure jihad, the war has opened a gateway for heaven. This war will also cause the quick demise of the US as a global power.The US wants other countries to be like Venezuela. So that they can hijack the rulers without any protest. Iran has successfully proven that neither the US or Israel is invincible. The US fought with more than 40 crony countries for 20 years from 2001 to 2021 to subdue 35 million Afghan; at the end had to flee. Iran of 90 million people is not weaker than Afghanistan.  The US may fight for another 20 or 40 years in Iran, but in the end,  they will run out of options except fleeing with disgrace.     The US war crime and the war criminalsThis war has many war criminals, and their crimes are huge. Only the defensive war is the rightful war. All offensive wars are war crimes. And this war is the US’s offensive war; so, President Donald Trump and his cronies are the established war criminals.The US Army’s Chief claims in today’s press conference that the US has hit 11 thousand targets on Iranian soil. Today, Al Jazeera reports that the US and Israel have destroyed 70 thousand housing units in Iran. They bombed oil depots to cause clouds of black smoke and huge environmental catastrophe in cities like Tehran, Tbriz, Isfahan. The amount of destruction already done by the US and Israel couldn’t be achieved by dropping a couple of  nuclear bombs. The US and Israel jointly have destroyed thousands of civil installations like hospitals, universities, schools, water plants and powerhouses. These are all punishable war crimes. Can a sensible man allow the war criminals to go unpunished?But it is regrettable that the UN Security Council couldn't even condemn the US and Israel for their illegal and unprovoked war on Iran. The European Union couldn’t show their morality either. They never condemned the US and Israel for the attack on Iran. Everyone has a duty: inaction is a crime This is an Israeli and US war on Islam and Muslims. There is no doubt about that. They displayed the same evil intention against Muslims and Islam in Gaza, Iraq, Syria, Libya and Afghanistan. No one needs any preamble to understand them.Now everyone has a duty. Those who have the skills of public speaking, writing, painting and in other means of mass communication must play the role intellectually against these war criminals. Now the international body like the UN is non-functional. Therefore, individuals must come forward to play a role. This world has reached to this stage not because of the power of the devils but because of silence and inaction of so-called good people. This is why silence in front of ongoing crime is also a crime; because such crime promotes more crimes.  This word doesn't belong exclusively to Donald Trump and his cronies. Every human has equal ownership of this planet, not an iota less than the share of Donald Trump or any American bully. Therefore, everyone must play a role to reclaim his or her share from the usurping US thugs. Otherwise, this world would be unliveable. The US leaders like its Defence Secretary lecture Iranians for spending money on foreign proxies. But they forget their own case. The US spends about a trillion dollars to build the largest Army on the earth and keeps about 800 army bases in at least 80 foreign countries.    This war is not between Iran and the USA. It is indeed a war between a coalition of evil powers like the US and Israel and the innocents. Iran is the victim of this illegal war. So, the defeat of Iran is the defeat of the whole of humanity. Such a defeat will give victory to an unhinged bully like the US. No sensible man can be a party to the victory of such an evil power. 31/03/2026
