Md Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: The International Women's Day-2026 was observed in Phulpur, Mymensingh, with a colorful rally and discussion meeting.The rally started from the Phulpur Upazila Parishad premises at 11 am and paraded through various roads of the town. A discussion meeting was held at the Phulpur Upazila Parishad hall room, presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer Sadia Islam Sima.Officer-in-Charge of Phulpur Thana Rashedul Hasan, Upazila Women's Affairs Officer Aramana Haque, Project Implementation Officer Begum Shaheen, Senior Fisheries Officer Ujjal Hussain, Election Officer Belal Hussain, Education Officer Shahnewaz Begum, Academic Supervisor Paritosh Sutradhar, and Azharul Islam, Vice-President of Bangladesh Khilafat Majlis Phulpur Sub-Committee were present at the meeting.The event was attended by women from various unions and local journalists.
