Pakistan education expo held at Chattogram to promote higher education links
CU Correspondent: The Pakistan Education Expo was held at the University of Chittagong on Tuesday under the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative, attracting strong interest from students exploring higher education opportunities abroad.The event brought together representatives from 20 leading Pakistani universities who interacted directly with students. They provided detailed information on admissions, fully funded scholarships, academic programmes, research opportunities, and student facilities available at Pakistan’s top-ranked institutions.Acting Vice Chancellor of the University of Chittagong, Dr. Mohammed Shamim Uddin Khan, welcomed the delegation and commended the initiative for strengthening academic cooperation and educational linkages between Pakistan and Bangladesh. Deputy High Commissioner of Pakistan Muhammad Wasif thanked the University of Chittagong’s management for hosting the expo and said such platforms play a key role in fostering people-to-people contacts and educational exchange.Students attended in large numbers, engaging with university delegates to learn about scholarships and programmes across disciplines.The expo was organized under the Pakistan–Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor initiative with support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad, Public Diplomacy Pakistan, and the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan.
