ATM Azharul Islam MP, Nayeb-e-Ameer of the party, addressed the event as chief guest.

In his speech, the chief guest said, “No other political party has made sacrifices like Jamaat-e-Islami.” He claimed that 11 top leaders of the party were executed through “judicial killings” and that numerous leaders and activists had laid down their lives in the struggle to establish justice and fairness. He added, “People cannot be suppressed by arms and muscle power, nor will they be in the future.”

He urged the Hajj pilgrims to pray for the welfare of the country and the nation, saying that justice can only be established through an Islamic system of governance.

Speaking as special guest, Assistant Secretary General Maulana Rafiqul Islam Khan MP said that just as Hajj is obligatory for those who are able, establishing Deen on earth is also obligatory.
