Nasir Uddin elected Chandraganj Club president, Shamsul Islam secretary

Staff Correspondent: A new social organisation, Chandraganj Club Limited, has begun its journey in Chandraganj upazila of Lakshmipur under the initiative of local distinguished citizens. The organisation also announced its executive committee for the 2026-28 terms.The newly elected committee named education patron, social worker and Dihan Shah Properties Limited Managing Director Nasir Uddin Mahmud as president and Shams Abashan Limited Managing Director Shamsul Islam as general secretary.The committee also elected Abdul Khalek, chairman of A Khalek Charity Foundation, as senior vice-president.Other office-bearers include Mohammad Akhtar Uddin as vice-president, Jamal Hossain as finance secretary, Mohiuddin as organising secretary, Abdul Wadud as publicity secretary, Advocate Hossain Ahmad Khan as executive member and Khorshed Alam as member.President Nasir Uddin Mahmud said the club would work to promote social development, harmony, humanitarian activities and positive engagement among young people in Chandraganj.He said the organisation aims to establish itself as a model social organisation through the support and cooperation of local residents.He added that the club would carry out education, cultural, sports and public welfare programmes to serve the local community. Chandraganj Club Limited has received registration from the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms (RJSC). Its registration number is C-207109/2025.
