Abdul Hakim Elected Full Member of Global Packaging Press Body

Syed Atik: Mohammad Abdul Hakim, Editor and Publisher of PPP News BD, has been elected a full member of the International Packaging Press Organization (IPPO), in recognition of his longstanding contributions to packaging journalism and his active engagement with the global packaging industry.

The membership was formally approved by IPPO's international members, acknowledging Hakim's professional achievements, sustained efforts to promote the packaging sector, and commitment to international collaboration.

IPPO is regarded as one of the world's leading organizations representing packaging journalists and media professionals. It brings together editors, publishers, reporters, and communication specialists from across the globe to promote international cooperation, knowledge sharing, technological exchange, and excellence in packaging journalism.

As a full member, Hakim will be entitled to participate in IPPO's international activities, exercise voting rights on key organizational matters, strengthen professional networks with packaging journalists worldwide, and contribute news and analysis on Bangladesh's packaging industry through the organization's global platform.

Expressing his gratitude, Hakim described the recognition as a great honour.

"Being recognized as a full member of the International Packaging Press Organization is a matter of immense pride for me. This is not only a personal achievement but also an international recognition for Bangladesh's packaging media. I look forward to working with colleagues from around the world to promote innovation, exchange knowledge, and showcase the progress of Bangladesh's packaging industry on the global stage," he said.

In addition to his career as a packaging entrepreneur and journalist, Abdul Hakim is widely known in Bangladesh's cultural arena by his stage name Hakim Sani as a distinguished reciter and elocution trainer.

Following the announcement, leaders of various social, cultural, business, and media organizations in Bangladesh congratulated him on securing the prestigious international membership.
