Mijanur Rahman Akanda, Phulpur: Stray dogs and cats have been vaccinated to prevent rabies in Phulpur, Mymensingh.The program was conducted at various places including the city's markets and markets on Sunday at the initiative of Phulpur Municipality. After the vaccination, the dogs and cats were identified with colors. Present at the time were Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Md. Shafiqul Islam, Municipality Executive Officer Kamrul Haque, Administrative Officer Golam Mostafa, Accounts Officer Raihan Kaiser Jewel and others. The Municipal Administrator said that after the vaccination, the animals were marked with green color. The vaccination program to prevent rabies will continue.
