Staff Correspondent: The ‘Diploma Leaders’ Education Camp-2026’, organized by the Central College Department of Bangladesh Islami Chhatrashibir, was held on Friday. The day-long camp was completed at the Institution of Diploma Engineers auditorium in the capital through various sessions, Q&A segments, and thematic discussions.
Responsible leaders from different polytechnic and technical institutions across the country participated in the education camp, chaired by Chhatrashibir Central President Nurul Islam. Central College Activities Secretary Hafez Yusuf Islahi conducted the program, while overall coordination was handled by Secretary General Sibgatullah.
The main program began with a Darsul Quran on verses 159-160 of Surah Al-Imran, delivered by Maulana Mohiuddin.
Speakers emphasized achieving the desired standards for Islamic movement activists, time management, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle. They also highlighted opportunities, prospects, and preparation strategies for higher education at home and abroad for diploma students.
In his presidential speech, Nurul Islam urged leaders to perform their duties while upholding ethics, trustworthiness, and accountability. “To build skilled and ideological leadership, one must embrace the spirit of trustworthiness and accountability in the Hereafter in personal life,” he said. He also stressed adopting modern and creative strategies to enhance the moral standards of polytechnic students and expand dawah activities on campuses.
In the thematic discussion segment, former Central President Zahidul Islam spoke on “Hijab, Sincerity, Trustworthiness and Accountability.” Secretary General Sibgatullah discussed strategies for dawah work in polytechnics. Central Office Secretary Azizur Rahman Azad presented on “The Desired Standard of Islamic Movement Activists.”
Former DUET President Irfanul Hasan Sakib spoke on “Islamic Movement and Career.” Former Central Business Education Secretary Abu Hanifa Mohammad Noman discussed “Opportunities and Prospects for Diploma Students in Higher Education Abroad.” DUET Branch Secretary Tasneem Alam also addressed the program, outlining various challenges in DUET preparation.
The day-long event concluded at 6:30 pm with closing remarks by Hafez Yusuf Islahi.
