Press Release: Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC. and BYD signed an agreement on 18 October 2026, at the head office of CG Runner BD Limited, the authorized importer of BYD products. In the presence of Mr. Mosleh Uddin Ahmed, Managing Director of Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC, the Deputy Managing Director of the Bank Mr. Md. Jafar Sadeq, FCA and the Managing Director of CG Runner BD Limited Mr. Amid Sakif Khan signed on agreement on behalf of the respective organizations. Under this agreement, the customers purchasing vehicles from BYD will be able to avail of financing facilities from Shahjalal Islami Bank PLC on special rate.Among others, the Chairman of CG Runner BD Limited Mr. Hafizur Rahman Khan, the Head of Retail Business Mr. Md. Khirkil Nowaz, the Head of Retail Investment Department Mr. S. M. Mohiuddin, the manager of Panthapath Branch of the Bank Mr. Md. Raziur Rahman, the CFO of CG Runner BD Limited Mr. Ferdous Ur Rahman, the SAVP at the bank’s corporate head office Mr. Md. Ibrahim Hossen and the senior officials of the both organizations were present in the agreement signing ceremony.
