APHC-AJK blames Indian govt for attack on Delhi-Srinagar Bus in Haryana

APHC-AJK blames Indian govt for attack on Delhi-Srinagar Bus in Haryana

CN Desk: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the cowardly attack on a Delhi-Srinagar passenger bus near Kurukshetra, Haryana, in which unidentified miscreants pelted stones and bricks at the bus carrying around 40 passengers at Divine Star Dhaba, resulting in injuries to an elderly Kashmiri passenger and damage to windowpanes.

Advocate Parvez, Secretary General, APHC, in his statement to the media, said this attack is not an isolated act of hooliganism but a direct outcome of the systematic hate campaign launched by the fascist government in New Delhi against Kashmiri Muslims.

“Inside occupied Jammu and Kashmir, our people are facing state terrorism in the form of PSA, UAPA, CASOs, and humiliation of our own KAS officers like Beenish Wani by Indian IAS officers. Outside Kashmir, the same policy continues – Kashmiri students, traders, labourers, drivers and common passengers are being targeted, beaten and humiliated in Haryana, Delhi, Punjab and other Indian states,” he said.

He said the Indian government has made the life of every Kashmiri Muslim hell. Through its Godi media and Hindutva foot soldiers of RSS and Bajrang Dal, it has branded Kashmiris as terrorists and anti-India, giving a free license to mobs to attack them. “You claim Kashmir is an integral part of India, but you treat Kashmiris as enemies. A Kashmiri shawl seller cannot sell shawls, a Kashmiri student cannot study, and now even an elderly Kashmiri cannot travel safely in a bus. This is the real face of Indian democracy,” he added.

The APHC-AJK held the Indian and Haryana governments directly responsible for the attack on Kashmiri travelers. It demanded immediate registration of an FIR and arrest of all culprits involved in the Kurukshetra attack.

The Hurriyat appealed to international human rights organizations, the OIC and the United Nations to take notice of the growing hate crimes against Kashmiri Muslims in India.
