MP Masood Sayedee embraces orphaned Rahmat, pledges education and financial Ssecurity

Zakir Hossin: A heartwarming gesture of compassion and responsibility has emerged following a tragic road accident that left a young child orphaned on the day of Eid in Pirojpur.

Member of Parliament for Pirojpur-1, Masood Sayedee, has stepped forward to support Rahmat, the child who lost both of his parents in the devastating accident. To ensure the boy’s future security and well-being, the lawmaker announced financial assistance of more than Tk 1.5 million from government sources and pledged to take responsibility for his education and overall upbringing.

During a visit to meet the grieving child, MP Masood Sayedee took Rahmat in his arms and comforted him with affection and reassurance. The emotional scene touched everyone present, as the festive joy of Eid was overshadowed by the heartbreaking loss suffered by the young boy.

Speaking on the occasion, Masood Sayedee said, “Rahmat is not alone after losing his parents on Eid day. We are all standing beside him. We will ensure his education, proper upbringing, and a secure future. Under no circumstances should he feel helpless.”

The MP further stated that necessary arrangements would be made to provide the financial support and that he would personally oversee the child’s welfare and development in the coming years.

The humanitarian initiative has brought relief and hope to Rahmat’s relatives and local residents. The announcement has also received widespread appreciation on social media, where many have praised the lawmaker’s compassionate response.

Local administration officials are also reportedly monitoring the child’s situation and providing necessary support. Residents expressed optimism that through the combined efforts of the administration and public representatives, Rahmat will be able to build a secure and promising future despite the tragedy he has endured.
