World Cup Semifinals: How Much Do Tickets Cost for Each Match

Sports Desk: The 23rd edition of the FIFA World Cup has reached its final stages, with 100 matches already completed. Only four games remain, as former champions Argentina, France, England, and Spain have booked their places in the semifinals with impressive performances.

Ticket prices have remained steep throughout the tournament, and demand for the semifinals has driven prices even higher. One semifinal is currently more than twice as expensive as the other.

The first semifinal between France and Spain will kick off in Dallas at 1:00 a.m. Bangladesh time on Tuesday. According to ticket tracking service TicketData.com, the lowest ticket price for the match stood at US$1,325 as of 10:00 p.m. Bangladesh time on Monday (12:00 p.m. Eastern Time).

In the second semifinal, Argentina will face England in Atlanta on Wednesday. Ticket prices for this match initially started at US$2,841. Due to dynamic pricing, they have increased by 34 percent over the past three days.

Prices peaked at US$2,966 on Saturday before easing slightly to US$2,537 on Sunday morning.

Tickets for the second semifinal are nearly twice as expensive as those for the third-place playoff, which will be played in Miami on Saturday. Tickets for that match are currently priced at US$1,543.

Meanwhile, tickets for the World Cup final, scheduled for Sunday in New York, are currently selling for US$6,760. That represents a decline of nearly 6 percent over the past 72 hours. When advance tickets first went on sale in October last year, prices had climbed as high as US$13,650.
