Khaled Ahmed, Pabna: Malanchi Union Parishad Chairman Kabir Ahmed Babu has announced his intention to seek re-election in the upcoming local government polls, saying he remains committed to serving the people of the union.Speaking to journalists on Saturday, Babu said he would once again contest the election with the support of local residents. He expressed gratitude to the people of Malanchi Union for standing by him during his approximately four-and-a-half-year tenure as chairman.Addressing voters, Babu urged residents to compare his performance with that of previous chairmen, particularly in terms of infrastructure development, public services and overall administrative activities."If you believe I have stood by you through development works, official services and other public responsibilities, I hope you will continue to support me," he said.Reaffirming his commitment to the people, the chairman added, "I have been with you, I am with you, and I will remain with you. With your support, I will contest the upcoming election again, God willing."The announcement comes ahead of the anticipated local government elections, where Babu is expected to seek another term as chairman of Malanchi Union Parishad.
